Senseless violence

Thando Mqubu, Gugulethu

I would like to send condolences to the families of the two people who were killed during a senseless stoning of cars in Marikana recently (“Marikana – a war zone”, Vukani, June 27).

These people had nothing to do with the complaints of the people of Marikana regarding the service delivery.

It’s high time that politicians from all parties show the ability to govern or ship out.

Parliamentarians are not affected by the scourge of violence in the townships about service delivery.

I hope the people responsible for these deaths are arrested and jailed.
