All systems go for Freedom Day run

Langa is expected to be a hive of sporting activity today as the organisers of the TymeBank Langa Run4Freedom race, along with the Langa community, welcome visitors and runners taking part in the event held in honour of Freedom day and the township’s 100th anniversary.

Gugulethu Athletic Club’s Khonza Rueben Mxinwa, pictured here during last week’s Two Oceans 21km run, is expected among the hundreds taking part in today’s Run4Freedom Race in Langa, celebrating Freedom Day and the township’s centenary.
