The Department of Water and Sanitation is offering bursaries to those planning careers in the sector.
Matrics and students pursuing water-related qualifications have until Sunday October 31 to apply.
“Bursary applications for students with an interest in science and engineering disciplines are currently open. We urge Grade 12 learners, particularly, to apply as we are in dire need of young and innovative minds to join the sector,” said department spokesman Sputnik Ratau.
The bursaries cover full tuition fees, accommodation and food, books and stationery and a monthly stipend.
