The Animal Rescue Organisation (ARO) mobile clinic in Marcus Garvey was robbed by thugs who posed as community members seeking clinic services.
Two weeks ago, the thieves then forced their way into the van and and robbed staff while horrified clinic clients looked on. The organisation is calling on the community to help them find a secure place in the Marcus Garvey area where it can set up the mobile clinic so that the service rendered is not disturbed.
“We want to continue to help the community members who rely on our services for their animals,” said Lunga Clara from ARO.
If you can help, talk to Animal Welfare Assistants at the clinic or call 021 396 5511 and speak to Lunga.
