Metro police officers confiscated dagga in Town Two, Khayelitsha on Thursday July 18.
The officers, who were following up on a tip-off, found the place unlocked but there was no one inside.
They conducted a search and found 63 parcels of high grade dagga, a blue drum full of dagga, and a second drum filled about a quarter with more dagga.
Metro police spokesperson, Ruth Solomons, said: “The estimated street value of the drugs is R40 000.”Â
The dagga was taken to Harare police station.
