MyCiTi commuters from Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha have to make alternative transport arrangements as the service has been unavailable since Saturday June 1.
This is after the N2 Express operating contract lapsed on Friday May 31.
Scores of commuters use the service which started operating in 2014.
The City of Cape Town says it is doing everything it can to negotiate a new contract to ensure that the N2 Express service becomes operational again.
