The City of Cape Town says daily meetings are being held with the stakeholders from the N2 Express service in an effort to find a solution that will get the MyCiTi buses back on the road.

For now, the N2 Express service remains suspended until further notice.

The City announced the abrupt suspension on Saturday June 1, after the contract expired on Friday May 31.

Meanwhile, Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha MyCiTi passengers, who have bought monthly packages for the N2 Express service, can get their refunds at the Zone 3 kiosk at the Civic MyCiTi station. The refund is immediate, and in cash.

The refund service for monthly packages is available between 6am and 9.45pm. The refunds will be paid out until Friday June 21.
