After 126 years the Cape Town Photographic Society (CTPS) believes that it deserves an innovative and creative modern new logo that not only reflects its past achievements and history, but also the camaraderie and pleasurable learning opportunities it offers current members.
The society is offering a
R10 000 prize to the creative designer who delivers a new logo that best reflects CTPS’ history, culture and objectives.
CTPS was the first member-based photographic society in South Africa and has since then been supporting and assisting photographic clubs across the country.
They keep members up to date with the latest photographic techniques and social media opportunities.
They also promote competition evenings where judges provide constructive comments; educational talks and workshops; weekend and daily outings where the emphasis is as much on the socialising as the photographic opportunities; and special interest groups where members who share a specific interest get together in informal groups.
A full description of CTPS activities can be found on www.ctps.co.za
The closing date for the logo competition is Friday June 2 at 1pm.
