I’m saying this with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart. How do we want the rest of the world to trust us as black people with their money, if we leave our own country and banks bankrupt.
Do we as South Africans expect people to invest their monies in our country, if all our public sectors are so corrupt? If you think we have heard it all, wait until the Gupta’s release the CCTV footage from Saxonwold to witness some ministers walking out of there with suitcases full of money. It is only in Africa where people steal their own country bankrupt, then blame White Monopoly Capital or the West. The question I want to ask, was PW Botha right when he said we black apeople re not meant to govern? What role did the EFF played in the demise of the Venda Bank Society (VBS)?
Are we going to replace a corrupt political party by yet another corrupt party, or is corruption an acceptable phenomenon in African politics? Maybe we don’t know how a successful country is built from the ground up, but definitely not on the back of empty slogans and corruption, but on sacrifice, patriotism and hard work.
