A Sting tribute show fund-raiser will take place on Saturday February 25 at the Barnyard Theatre, Tygervalley Centre, at 1pm.
The Shape of my Heart show will include the early hits of The Police and award-winning songs of Sting’s solo career.
On vocals will be Stephan Cloete with Pierre Theron on keyboard, Pierre Tredoux on drums, Ian Smit on guitar, Jacques Steyn on bass, and Helmut Meijer on backing vocals and tracks.
The beneficiary is Liv Cape Town, a NPC passionate about early childhood education.
Drummer Dr Pierre Tredoux, a specialist physician, has a dream to perform music shows and to donate all the proceeds to NPOs like Liv Cape Town.“I love to play drums and now I can use this talent to help relieve some of the pain and suffering of the people of our beautiful country. I am so excited about this project.”
