Bookings are open for The Fugard Bioscope’s National Theatre Encore Season, which is a chance to experience the best of British theatre.
The plays will be screened on The Fugard Theatre’s full-size high definition cinema screen.
The productions have been filmed live, transporting you directly into the heart of the action on stage.
“Theatres such as the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and the Barbican Theatre are world leaders in the creation of theatre,” says Greg Karvellas, resident director and general manager of the Fugard Theatre.
“We are delighted to be able to bring this magic to Cape Town audiences with The National Theatre Encore Season.”

Twelfth Night on Sunday December 17, at 11am.
Peter Pan on Sunday December 22, at 11am.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Sunday January 7, at 11am.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead on Sunday January 14, at 11am.
Angels in America Part 1 on Monday January 15, at 7pm.
Obsession on Sunday January 21, at 11am.
Angels in America Part 2 on Monday January 22, at 7pm.
Amadeus on Sunday January 28, at 11am.
